Privacy
The short version: Gadgets Galore doesn't use cookies to track you, and the only thing we ever ask for is an email address if you want a back-in-stock alert.
What we collect
Nothing you type in, with one exception: back-in-stock alerts. There are no accounts or mailing lists.
Back-in-stock alerts
If a product is sold out, you can leave your email address and we'll email you once when it's back in stock. We store your address and the product you asked about, and use them for nothing else. We send that one email through our email provider, Resend, and then delete your address. If the product isn't back within 60 days, we delete your address anyway. To cancel an alert sooner, email sales@gadgets-galore.co.uk.
Visitor counts
We count visits so we know which pages are useful. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookie-free. It records things like which pages were viewed, roughly which country a visit came from and the type of device. They don't identify you personally.
Hosting and fonts
The site is hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers briefly process technical details such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. The site's fonts load from Google Fonts, which also receives your IP address when a page loads.
Affiliate and referral links
Many "Check price" buttons and some other links go to retailers or services, and we may earn a commission or referral reward if you buy or sign up. When you click through, you're on their website and covered by their privacy policy and cookies, not ours. Those sites may use cookies to record that you arrived from Gadgets Galore.
Our shop
Products in our shop are sold and posted by FoneFunShop Ltd, Sheffield. When you check out you're on FoneFunShop's website, and they handle your payment, address and order under their own privacy policy. Your basket on this site is kept only in your own browser, so we never see it.
Contact
If you email us at sales@gadgets-galore.co.uk, we'll use your details only to reply, and won't add you to mailing lists or pass them on. Ask at any time and we'll delete our conversation.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask what information is held about you and complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk) if you're unhappy. In practice, this site doesn't hold personal information about its visitors.
